The Trust is managed by an experienced and independent board of trustees that combines governance integrity, strategic insight and financial, legal and empowerment expertise.

Lebogang Letsoalo
BTech Logistics, MBA, Diploma Purchasing, PHD candidate
Lebogang Letsoalo is the Managing Director of Sincpoint and a seasoned supply chain leader with nearly 20 years of experience across the energy, chemicals, and mining sectors. She has held executive roles at top companies including Sasol, Eskom, De Beers, Fluor, and IBM.
A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Lebo is the founder of the African Women in Supply Chain Association, an NGO focused on mentorship and transformation in procurement. She has mentored over 400 women in the transport sector and has received numerous accolades, including Mail & Guardian Top 50 Business Women, LinkedIn Top Influencer, and recognition as one of the Top 100 Global Most Influential Women in Supply Chain.
Lebo serves on several boards, including Transnet, Booyco Engineering, and Inqolobane Investment Managers and is a vocal advocate for anti-corruption policies and equitable supply chain practices across Africa.

Rowen Pillai
CA(SA), PD(SA), MBA, Certified Lean Practitioner, BIDA™
Rowen Pillai is the Managing Director of LeanTechnovations and a results-driven business leader with nearly a decade of experience across the financial, professional services, industrial, and retail sectors.
He began his career at KPMG, later joining Kingsley Heath in the retail space, and eventually served as Group Financial & Operations Director at the Transcend Group. His journey sparked a deep passion for Lean principles, operational excellence, and the transformative power of technology.
Rowen specialises in driving business growth through strategic use of data, AI, and automation, enabling smarter decision-making and continuous improvement.
He also serves as a Director at Black Industrialists Group, Inqolobane Investment Managers, and sits on several other boards, where he continues to champion innovation and sustainable business transformation.

Snehal Desai
CA(SA), H.Dip Financial Accounting
Snehal Desai is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and Director at Transcend Capital. He specialises in the design and implementation of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) ownership and enterprise development transactions.
He is a trustee of the Inqolobane Investment Trust, where he contributes deep technical insight and strong governance oversight. Snehal completed his articles at KPMG and subsequently served as an audit manager, gaining exposure to a range of sectors and complex financial environments.
He joined Transcend Capital to pursue his interest in Enterprise and Supplier Development and to contribute to building a more inclusive and economically active society.
